Before acquiring Southern Pool Designs in 2025, Austen Ebenger took his time finding the right business to own. He was deliberate about where to put his future.

With a Wharton undergraduate degree, an MBA from NYU on a full scholarship, and a background in private equity, he had spent years learning how businesses operate. He wanted to put that experience to work somewhere the results were tangible, personal, and built to last.

Southern Pool Designs brought together the things he was looking for: skilled people, a long history of craftsmanship, and the opportunity to create something customers would enjoy every day.

His role today is to give that experienced team the support, organization, and clear processes to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
